Katya worked as an engineer at NASA on missions such as the rover Perseverance and Europa Clipper, where she was an electronics and test leader.

She is the host of several popular television segments, including “Mission Unstoppable” with Miranda Cosgrove.

Since her space flight, she has decided to continue her humanitarian work in support of a stronger Space Industry and Space Agency in Mexico.

Katya has plans to develop a space research center in Mexico, as well as a foundation to support space-related activities in Latin America.
